Each child from 1 to 18 years old, can received up to 2 meals daily: Breakfast, lunch or snack.

Leaders, entities or organizations have two options to offer the services:

  1. Sponsor – the entity receives federal funds through reimbursement. Public or private School Food Authorities, state and municipal government agencies, summer camps, private non-profit, community, or faith-based organizations may sponsor the program. Entities that have adequate facilities for preparing food can receive the necessary budget for the operation of the program. It can be used to buy food, pay the kitchen staff’s salary, among others.
  2. Sub-Sponsor – Leaders, entities, or organizations that do not have facilities to prepare their own food can request the meals from an Independent Sponsor participating in the Program.
